St. Louis Style Cajun Chicken Wings
Crispy, flavorful chicken wings with a dry Cajun rub and a blend of paprika, cayenne, garlic, and traditional Cajun seasonings.
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken wings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them to coat evenly with the dry rub.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken wings to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken wings to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
